50% increase in available manpower and minimize the human errors
Our client is a third-party logistics company that handles labeling for a wide variety of imported goods on a daily basis. Previously, the client had a dedicated labeling team of approximately 5-7 core staff members responsible for affixing different labels on the various products.
Challenges
Due to import compliance requirements, the company must ensure accurate product labeling. However, the manual process of concurrently labeling multiple products has proven to be time-consuming. This has also increased the risk of human errors during the labeling operations.
Solutions
Million Tech offered the third-party logistics company a rental plan for their one-stop AI labeling system. This solution included the installation of high-speed 4-axis robotic arms, a direct thermal transfer printer, and a label design system at the logistics company’s warehouse. With this setup, the labeling work could begin immediately upon the arrival of goods, allowing for real-time printing and application of the labels. Additionally, the rental plan covered the label materials, label design, printing services, user training, and complete technical support. This comprehensive package enabled the logistics company to streamline their labeling processes.
Additionally, we shared our clients’ past experience with successful application of Third-party Logistics Service Providers (TPLSP) to enhance the labelling process.
Values created
As Robotic Labelling Solution is qualified to apply Pilot Subsidy Scheme for Third-party Logistics Service Providers (TPLSP), it can significantly help them to upgrade their labelling flow to automotive labelling in very cost effective way with government funding. The solution resulted in a notable 50% increase in available manpower, and minimize the human error. This contributed to an overall optimization of the client’s operational efficiency and productivity.
