在我們的日常生活中，很容易就能發現物聯網（Internet of Things，簡稱IoT）的蹤跡。無論是我們使用的電動牙刷、運動手環、信用卡NFC付款，甚至駕駛時使用的車Cam和導航系統，這些都是IoT的日常應用例子，通過IoT收集使用數據，令我們更了解自己的生活習慣，在商業和教育領域也是如此。其實現時IoT已在商業社會中大放異彩，各行各業已在應用IoT，一方面推動企業數碼轉型，另一方面通過收集的數據來提高效率。而要打造智慧校園，更應該從IoT著手。
