It helps staff maintain catalogue and item records, process borrowing and return transactions, track item status, carry out stocktaking and prepare reports. Success Story: RFID Library Service Enhancement for Hong Kong Legislative Institution

The Legislative Council Library covers 860 square metres with a collection of around 50,000 books and 40,000 sets of council records. It mainly serves Legislative Council Members, their staff and Secretariat staff, while also welcoming the public to visit and conduct research. As part of a recent renovation of the Legislative Council Complex, the library space has been completely refreshed and enhanced with an RFID smart library solution to upgrade the overall user experience.
