這十多年來我因為工作原故有很多機會接觸學校圖書館老師。每次與圖書館主任（圖主）交流，他們都熱衷分享創新的閱讀推廣方法。我見過圖主設計閱讀大富翁遊戲，讓同學通過借閱數量前進，在棋盤上獲得不同獎勵；也見過收集「印仔」換取轉輪盤機會，甚至有機會贏得JACKPOT大獎。這些創意十足的推廣方式，讓我思考如何運用科技平台協助推廣閱讀。
